Though the Nuggets stayed put at the NBA trade deadline this year, the Western Conference will look a lot different — both this season and moving forward.
Another trade deadline has come and past.
The Nuggets did what most expected — and what most believe to be the right move — and stayed put this year.
Rumors linked the Nuggets most prominently to Knicks power forward Noah Vonleh, but the Nuggets did reportedly make an offer for Pelicans star Anthony Davis.

But in the end, General Manager Tim Connelly and Co. decided to show faith in the group that has guided Denver to a 37-17 record — good for second in the stacked Western Conference.
The very top of the Western Conference stayed quiet. Neither the Warriors (38-15, First Place) nor the Thunder (35-19, Third Place) made a move.
But from there on, more than a handful of teams made trades — some trying to add the final piece to a contender and some looking ahead to the future.
