For how many NBA teams would Monte Morris start?

The Definitely Nots

— Philadelphia (Ben Simmons)                   — Golden State (Steph Curry)

— Boston (Kyrie Irving)                                             — Toronto (Kyle Lowry)

— Oklahoma City (Russell Westbrook)       — Portland (Damian Lillard)

— Charlotte (Kemba Walker)                                  — Houston (Chris Paul)

— Brooklyn (D’Angelo Russell)                 — Sacramento (De’Aaron Fox)

— Memphis (Mike Conley)                         — New Orleans (Jrue Holiday)

This Group of 12 is pretty set at point guard moving forward.

They have combined for 44 All-Star game appearances. Everybody has made one except Fox (just his second year in the league) and Conley (stuck in an extremely talented Western Conference for his prime, but still probably should have made a couple appearance).

And though Conley has slipped in recent years — partly due to injuries, partly due to age — he was still at one point the league’s highest paid player for a reason.

There are also two former MVPs in Curry (2015, 2016) and Westbrook (2017) and arguably five of the league’s top 15 players (Curry, Irving, Westbrook, Lillard and Chris Paul).

So, that eliminates 12 teams but we’re still left with 18.

Time to take a look at the Probably Nots.
