2019 All-Star Game

After being selected to be an All-Star for the first time, Jokic was selected again by Giannis Antetokounmpo. He will join the Bucks star in competing against head coach Michael Malone, who is coaching Team LeBron.

Jokic is a reserve, but will most likely be one of the first players off of the bench on Sunday night. It was argued that Jokic should have gotten a starting nod, but regardless, he will look to put up big numbers.

The All-Star game is a prime opportunity to showcase his skills on a national stage, and he will most likely take every advantage of it. Nuggets fans know what Jokic can do, but he isn’t talked about much outside of Denver. That is recently beginning to change, but he still isn’t getting the respect that he deserves.

With so many good players playing, it’s hard to spread the basketball around enough for every player to put up big numbers. However, Jokic is a big man who operates with the ball in his hand, and he should have plenty of opportunities to score the basketball, as well as assist some of the best players in the world.

Jokic should have a strong game, and he should also gain a bit more of a following after the festivities are over.

Prediction: Jokic finishes with 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists
