Denver played impressive defense for the second game in a row

The Nuggets limited the Clippers to 96 points, which is impressive considering Los Angeles had scored over 100 points in four straight games leading up to last night’s game. After impressing on defense against the Dallas Mavericks just two days earlier, Denver turned in another great performance.

The Nuggets held the Clippers to just 34.5% shooting from the field, including just 14.3% (3-21) from three point land. Many Nuggets fans will remember the abysmal defense that the team played leading up to the All-Star break, so having back-to-back solid defensive performances is a sight for sore eyes.

Defense will be what makes or breaks this Nuggets team, and so far the team has impressed after having a break to regroup and get healthy.
