The Denver Nuggets were able to pull out a gritty 115-99 win against a Los Angeles Laker team down three starters, snapping a three game losing streak.
The Denver Nuggets almost didn’t win. After racing out to as much as a 23 point lead midway through the third quarter, Denver saw that lead evaporate into just two points midway through the fourth period.
However, Gary Harris scored 11 straight points late in the fourth quarter and Denver never looked back. It was an encouraging showing for most of the game despite the Nuggets blowing their second big lead in three games.
