With just 6 games remaining in the 2018-19 NBA season, the Denver Nuggets are looking to lock up a top-2 seed in the Western Conference for the first time in years.

After the firing of George Karl after the 2012-13 57-win season, the Denver Nuggets entered a rebuild that would not see them make the playoffs for 6 seasons. With one of the deepest teams in the NBA and a bonafide superstar in Nikola Jokic, however, the rebuild looks to be complete.

It will be important for the Nuggets to not think too far ahead and focus on each game as it comes, as they are not in a position to lose their position as having a home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. Denver has the second-best home record in the league and that advantage must be used to the fullest extent coach Mike Malone and the players can milk out of it. They have not been phenomenal on the road this season, winning 52.6% of their road games this season despite having a winning percentage of 67.1% overall.

While the regular season is not quite finished, and the team still has a daunting schedule ahead of them to focus on, it is worth noting which opponents the Nuggets match up favorably with in a 7-game series.
