Was this a surprise to anyone? Nikola Jokic has been the one constant for this team. While everyone around him was decimated with injuries, Jokic stayed strong and willed this team to the 2nd seed in the West. We all knew going into the season that Jokic was a special player, but we did not see this big of a leap to MVP candidate in just one season. He boasted averages of 20.1 PPG, 10.8 RPG, 7.2 APG, 1.4 SPG shooting 51% from the field. Simply put the Nuggets would be a lottery team without Jokic by their side willing them forward.

It goes without saying that even though these players listed have been singled out due to their excellent performance this season, the team needs to be commemorated for working hard and taking the Nuggets to where they are today. Their next challenge will be to make some noise in what will be the first playoff series for most of these youngsters.
