Do not be fooled by the teams record and deep talent, the Denver Nuggets are only just getting started.

The Denver Nuggets have only just now realized the true lengths of their potential. But with that being said they have not hit their ceiling. This team is still extremely young with a lot of experience yet to be gained before they can truly start making some noise.

This does not mean you can count them out. They are still a dangerous team because they have nothing to lose. They were the 9th seed just last season and now they have clinched the 2nd seed. Things are only looking up from here.

Their young MVP candidate is still only 24 years old and only getting better with each passing year, Jamal Murray is still only 22 years old and is looking like a 20+ PPG scorer sooner than later,. Gary Harris and Will Barton have not looked like themselves this season with numerous injuries, Monte Morris, Malik Beasley and Mason Plumlee have shown great promise as leaders of the 2nd unit and lastly Michael Porter Jr. has not even stepped foot on the court yet.

This team is still getting used to playing completely healthy, something that could prove to be challenging as players would have to share their shots with others. As the players continue to grow and get better over time Michael Malone will have a tougher time getting everyone shots to make them happy. While it is a difficult task, it is something that can absolutely be done given the appropriate time and effort.

If the Nuggets do make it to the Western Conference Finals or even the NBA Finals it would be a huge accomplishment, but it should not be expected from fans. Whatever happens in these playoffs can only be viewed as a success. As the future starts coming to fruition our expectations will rise as a result, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it. For now, lets enjoy this great season from the Nuggets and root for them till the end!
