Nikola Jokic had an amazing 2018-19 season and in his exit interview he spoke glowingly about the 2018-19 Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets players conducted their exit interviews yesterday.

Nikola Jokic had a great exit interview and spoke  about the 2018-19 season.  Much to the reporters entertainment, he also mentioned potentially Gary Harris going on vacation with him!

The Joker also spoke about motivation for this season and what motivates him personally. Jokic did appear to take the game 7 loss personally. However, he appeared optimistic about the teams success.

"At the end of the day we had a good season…CJ played extremely good, it was a tough loss for us."

In the playoffs, despite being a center he played like an elite point guard.

Joker really enjoyed his season and the success that the Nuggets had over the course of the year.

"Just the fund we had winning the games. We a lot of games…just see everybody is getting better just see everybody trying to make something happen."

In addition to being a fan favorite, the Joker loves Nuggets fans!

"I love our fans. They are making this ever better you know….the Arena was full there were no empty seats."

Nikola also bragged about Michael Porter Jr. and thinks he can be a good player. Michael Porter Jr. could definitely be a great new addition for the Nuggets in the 2019-20 season.

"He’s good.He’s really talented. He’s really athletic."

Jokic had many historic games in the 2018-19 season including having 12 triple-doubles during the regular season . This season,  the Joker was able to pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on NBA all-time triple-doubles list.

On 01/26, the Denver Nuggets beat the 76ers in a dominant victory with Nikola having 32-18-10. Also on 11/09 against the Brooklyn Nets the Joker scored 37 points and grabbed 21 rebounds in a dominant performance. Also on November 3, 2018 the Nuggets blew out the Utah Jazz to set the tone for the season. In that performance, Jokic had 16 assists and 10 rebounds.

In the 2019 playoffs, Jokic had 4 triple-doubles.   The Joker is one of three players along with Magic Johnson and Lebron James to obtain multiple triple-doubles in his first playoff appearance.

In game 1 against the Spurs, the Joker dropped 10-14-14 in his first ever playoff game! In game 7 against the Spurs in perhaps the Joker’s greatest game in the 2018-19 season, Nikola dropped 21-15-10 to lead the Nuggets to victory.

Jokic had an amazing season and will likely continue his dominance into the 2019-20 season.
