The Denver Nuggets have a great starting group, but they could each learn something. The best players to learn from are these all-time greats.

After around a week or so of our Denver Nuggets 3 goals series, we’re taking a break for a couple of days to give you something different. Today, we’re looking back to see how the past could help the present. We’re looking at one legend at each position from NBA history that each starter for the Nuggets could learn from to better them for the 2019-20 season. A quick note that these do not have to be exclusively Nuggets’ legends.

Each player in the starting group has a skill that they do well with one or another that lags. That’s what the purposes of working with these all-time greats can fix. Think about Kobe Bryant working with Sacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield or LeBron James working with Hakeem Olajuwon back in 2011 to help his post-game. If the Nuggets’ starters could each spend a full offseason with someone to work on these skills, this is who it would be and why.

If you don’t agree with each legend paired with each player, feel free to put it in the comments or reply to me on twitter with your takes. The Nuggets are primed to have a great year, and these workouts would only help them further push up the standings in the Western Conference. Without any further delay, let’s get into it.
