Monte Morris: C+

He wasn’t bad, but also, he wasn’t particularly great. He had a very nice block in his first stint where he kept up with a driving Laker and blocked him. He moved his feet laterally very well on that play. His one three that he made was excellent. Outside of these plays however, I didn’t see him as being much of a factor. He’s an effective bridge between Jamal Murray’s minutes, but he’s not nearly the scorer that Jamal is obviously. Regardless, his contributions last night were adequate, but not excellent.

Mason Plumlee: C+

Plumlee did his job last night, playing around the rim, contesting shots, and providing good playmaking from the 5. Unfortunately, he attempted to do more than that pretty often. Between his floater and attempted corner three, his shot selection was less than ideal. He also committed 5 fouls in 14 minutes, which is impressive, but not in a good way. Regardless, he provided the only rebounding on the whole bench unit, (he was the sole bench player with more than one board). Mason Plumlee did his job, but it could’ve been prettier.

Gary Harris: C-

Gary Harris has been a defensive terror for the Nuggets this year. He wasn’t bad on that end, but he also wasn’t excellent. Seeing as how his offensive struggles have continued, he found himself as a non-contributor last night. He made a few decent shots on the move, including one three, but otherwise was a non-factor.

Jerami Grant: C-

Jerami Grant was another non-factor in this game. He did hit a momentum three earlier in the game, and hit two of his four shots. Unfortunately, he was not effective on the glass, only rebounding on 5.2% of opponent’s missed field goals, (a good number is closer to 17% for a power forward).
