Jordan Nwora (Louisville)

Averaging 18.0 points and 7.7 rebounds per game in his third and final season at Louisville, Jordan Nwora is a 6’7″ forward who has only had one season shooting below 40.0% once in his college career. A two-time All-ACC selection, Nwora shot 40.2% from three (6.1 attempts per game) in 2019-20.

More of a combo forward than swingman due to his lack of athleticism and average ball-handling ability, Nwora will be a three-and-D player who can show off his deep range when he enters the league. Nwora has also shown an ability to attack closeouts and finish above the rim by making timely cuts.

While Nwora isn’t an elite defender by any means, lacking lateral agility and gambling too much when he’s defending on-ball, he’s displayed a high level of awareness as a team defender. Nwora, 225 pounds, has shown that he’s a solid defender in the post as well, with the strength needed to defend bigger players.

His best chance to play meaningful minutes for the Nuggets will come if the team decides to move on from Torrey Craig and if they have issues retaining forward Jerami Grant.
