Monte’ Morris – B+

Monte Morris made an enormous jump in his performance from the team’s loss to the Miami Heat. Monte, who understandable seemed quite rusty versus Miami, was able to really impact the game and return to his steady self.

Morris didn’t turn the ball over one time and was a team high +28 on the day. He showed poise and played an uncharacteristic 39 minutes (tied for 2nd on the team) but didn’t show any signs of fatigue. Morris did exactly what was needed from him as the leading point guard today.

Mason Plumlee – D

Mason Plumlee was really a non-factor on the offensive end today’s outing. He was a -10 (second worst) in the game and his efficiency (1-4 shooting from the field) was underwhelming.

Fortunately for him, his usual energy and defensive presence was not needed for his team to steal a win today. On the positive side, Plumlee was able to secure 5 rebounds and even managed a block. He will be needed in the next few games and hopefully he will be able to make an impact then.
