Will Barton

Will Barton hasn’t played since the Nuggets’ final scrimmage, where he scored just 3 points in 18 minutes of action. He’s also set to miss Denver’s opening playoff game. As a result, nobody could blame you for not believing that he’ll be a factor in the team’s postseason run.

Nonetheless, Barton remains one of the Nuggets’ best playmakers when healthy, averaging 15.1 points and 3.7 assists in a team-high 33.0 minutes per game this season. If Denver can have an extended playoff run, Will the Thrill will have a chance to make the Nuggets even harder to stop, while giving them another perimeter threat (he’s shot 37.5% from three this season).

He shouldn’t be expected to play how he was when he was in midseason form but he’s going to make a strong impact. In Game 1, the Nuggets could have used Barton to take advantage of the attention that was given to his teammates.
