There’s at least one fan who was all-in on the Denver Nuggets in Game 7.

If you thought that the Denver Nuggets were confident heading into their Game 7 showdown with the Utah Jazz, the guy who placed a $500,000 bet on the Nuggets to win Game 7 might have been more optimistic than anybody. I mean he really must have put his money where is mouth is.

According to BetMGM, the official sports betting partner of the NBA and other professional sports leagues, the Nuggets were underdogs with -110 odds to complete their 3-1 comeback against the Jazz. By betting $500,000 (and winning), this bettor secured an additional $454,500 to add to what’s likely an already fat wallet.

You can only imagine how the bettor must have felt at the end of the game, whether it was when Gary Harris stripped Donovan Mitchell on the drive, when Torrey Craig missed a layup in transition on the ensuing possession, or when Mike Conley — who made 52.9% of his threes in the series — saw his 3-ball rim-out on a potential game-winner.

He might have felt A LOT like this guy.

People who didn’t have anything tangible on the line in Game 7 went through a myriad of emotions at the end of the game, especially considering the fast start that the Nuggets got out to.

Next. Jamal Murray has been all-time great. dark

I can’t even imagine how I would have felt if I put half a million dollars on Denver to win.
