The 2020 NBA Draft

As previously noted, the Nuggets can opt to replace Craig in the NBA Draft, where wing prospects like Elijah Hughes, Josh Green and Saddiq Bey could be available when their pick (22nd overall) comes up. With Will Barton showing the importance of having another playmaker on the wing available, Hughes may be their best choice due to his slashing ability.

However, if the Nuggets bring Craig back or replace him in free agency — both of which are possibilities, they could opt to bring in a combo forward to replace Millsap. If this happens, then a player like Jaden McDaniels could be their pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

McDaniels, a jack-of-all-trades whose biggest issue right now is consistency, would fit in perfectly with a Millsap-less frontcourt.
