What’s next for the Denver Nuggets?

Despite losing 3-1 to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, the Denver Nuggets have proven themselves to be a dangerous young team.

They made history as the first team to come back from down 3-1 in multiple series’ in a single postseason, downing the Utah Jazz and then the Los Angeles Clippers. Denver was able to do all this without one starter in Will Barton and with another (Gary Harris) missing for the first half of their series against the Jazz.

The Nuggets were able to do this because Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic cemented themselves as a deadly duo, playing  a terrific two-man game on the way to elite postseason showings.

Now that the thrill of their unexpected playoff run is over, Denver needs to focus their attention on the offseason. This offseason will be pivotal, as there are some changes that need to be made to ensure the Nuggets can be NBA Finals contenders for years to come.
