Trading an injury-prone piece

The first order for the business for the Nuggets is to trade Harris or Barton.

Harris has been great defensively but is a highly inconsistent scorer. As this hasn’t been the case for the postseason but for multiple years, he doesn’t appear to be the most reliable piece for Denver. To make matters worse, he’s injury-prone, which impacts not just his ability to play but the level of his play.

Unfortunately, Barton is injury-prone as well. While Harris was able to make an impact in the playoffs, Barton ended up missing both all of the Nuggets’ seeding and postseason games. It’s imperative for Denver find a shooting guard who can remain healthy throughout the season and produce at a high level.
