Can the Denver Nuggets swing a trade for a star before the 2020-21 season begins?

The Denver Nuggets are trying to add more talent to their roster this offseason as they prepare for an pivotal 2020-21 campaign. Without the cap space to sign marquee players and with a late first-round pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, that may prove to be difficult but there may be trades that can bring the type of production in that Denver’s looking for.

Jrue Holiday is obviously one name that’s cropped up in recent days as a potential trade target for contending teams but joining him on that list are now players like Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan.

Which of these players make the most sense for the Nuggets and what would Denver have to acquire them?

NuggLove will attempt to answer these questions but readers be warned: everything that glitters isn’t gold.
