Denver Nuggets: 3 trades that could bring another star to the Mile High
Jrue Holiday
Jrue Holiday has been the talk of the town ever since the 2020 NBA Finals ended.
This is largely due to the fact that, prior to the New Orleans Pelicans openly discussing trading the veteran guard, the Nuggets had expressed interest in trading for Holiday as recently as February.
In Denver, Holiday would bolster the Nuggets’ shoddy perimeter defense and is one of the rare guards that are strong enough to handle their own against frontcourt players. His versatility and prowess on the defensive end combined with his ability to create for himself and others offensively make him the best conceivable fit for the Mile High City right now.

However, the Pelicans may prefer to send the veteran to a contender instead; he’s been a valuable leader for them. The best deal the Nuggets would be willing to offer for Holiday should include Gary Harris (to replace Holiday’s defense), Monte Morris (the Pelicans need a backup point guard) and Bol Bol (among available players, Bol has Denver’s best combination of youth, talent and potential).
