The Denver Nuggets are starting to gain momentum, going 10-4 after a 1-4 start.

19 games in, the horn has sounded for the first quarter of the Denver Nuggets’ 2020-21 campaign and while Mile High Mania is at an all-time high.

Nuggets franchise cornerstone Nikola Jokic has played as aggressively as ever to start the season. Whether it was him getting married to his longtime girlfriend, the taste of being just one game away from the 2020 NBA Finals or simply him still being in rhythm after a condensed offseason, Jokic has been putting up career numbers and is a legitimate MVP candidate with Denver currently holding the 4th spot in the West.

Meanwhile, Denver is fully healthy for the first time in what seems like ages, as fan favorites — past and present — take the court for the Nuggets.

With large enough sample sizes to look at the stats as meaningful, it’s time to take stock of what Denver has accomplished thus far and what fans can expect for the remaining three quarters of 2020-21. NuggLove will provide three surprising trends through the first quarter checkpoint and keep track of them throughout the season.
