Jamal Murray’s Right Knee (0 feet – Stuck At Basecamp)

Jamal Murray is dealing with right knee soreness that kept him firmly nailed to the bench for all four games last week, which is why he remains stuck at Mount Evans basecamp for our week-in-review as well. The most frustrating thing about that sore knee is that it remains unclear when and how the issue began for the Blue Arrow.

Murray was seen warming up with a wrap on his knee before his most recent game against the Orlando Magic on April 4th.

He struggled in the first half of that game but came back strong in the second, before popping up on the injury report after the contest. The encouraging thing is that the Canadian kid did participate in warmups prior to missing his fourth straight game on Sunday against the Boston Celtics (a game which we’ll get to in a minute) according to the Denver Post’s Mike Singer.

It’s always worrisome when you can’t pinpoint the origin of an injury, but hopefully, the Nuggets don’t have to go too much longer without Murray because this Denver team as a whole isn’t reaching any kind of mountaintop without the 24-year-old.
