The Denver Nuggets have clinched their third-straight playoff berth with a Portland Trail Blazers loss tonight.
The Denver Nuggets are heading back to the playoffs for the third-straight season after the Portland Trail Blazers lost to the Atlanta Hawks.
With a 43-22 record after losing to the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night, the Nuggets are four games behind the Utah Jazz for the first place in the Western Conference and 0.5 games behind the second-placed Phoenix Suns.
Denver recently moved into the third seed in the Western Conference following a win against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The team can finish as high as the one seed but they are most likely to finish with the fourth seed (57 percent) according to PlayoffStatus.com. After today, Denver will not take part in the NBA’s play-in tournament and won’t finish lower than the sixth seed.
Since the Jamal Murray injury, the Denver Nuggets have won nine of their past 11 games with key contributions coming from other parts of the roster.
