The Denver Nuggets have defeated the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 2, giving the team a nice bit of momentum as they make the road trip to Portland for games three and four. The Nuggets convincingly handled the Blazers, winning 128-109 and proving that this series will be a back and forth battle after Portland’s game one victory.

Despite a massive outing from Damian Lillard, the Nuggets dominated the game and had many of their key players show up in a big way. Nikola Jokic proved why he should will be crowned the MVP by putting up a monster stat line. Meanwhile, players such as Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr., Monte Morris, and Facundo Campazzo also had their moments in the game that helped the Nuggets seize and keep control over the game.

As the Denver Nuggets prepare for a two-game road trip to Portland, there are many positive things from their victory that they should take with them to help them get a stranglehold on the series. Denver will be looking to win both games on the road after dropping one game at home against the Blazers, with a few key takeaways from the second game that will help Denver take advantage in the series.
