With free agency almost upon us, there are a few holes the Denver Nuggets need to fill on their roster before the 2021-22 season. This year’s list of free agents isn’t one of the flashiest but there’s value to be had.

This list is running through a few that Tim Connelly and the Nuggets brass should avoid or at least leave for a worst-case scenario.

Obviously, there are free agents at every position and some positions don’t need filling. For the purposes of the article, I’ll only list free agents who would fill a positional need for the Nuggets.

For example, I’ve suggested the Denver Nuggets target Avery Bradley or Lou Williams as two players that can soak up the guard minutes Jamal Murray’s injury is leaving behind. I’m definitely going to mention a name or two who will be in Denver’s price range but they should avoid for various reasons.

In fact, I’ll stop stalling and get right to one of those names now.
