Before entering the 2021 NBA offseason, there were a few things the Denver Nuggets needed to address. I previewed their needs this past offseason this July in the form of a checklist.

At the time, I didn’t know that Will Barton and JaMychal Green were planning on declining their player options, becoming unrestricted free agents but thankfully, their re-signing made this list complete before and after free agency.

Heading into training camp, this iteration of the Denver Nuggets is likely the one we’ll see on opening night and barring a few training camp invites and one more two-way contract to be signed, this is the final team.

Let’s get into the four needs before the offseason and how Tim Connelly and the front office addressed them.
