The Denver Nuggets will be without reigning MVP Nikola Jokic for Wednesday’s home game against the Indiana Pacers as he serves his one-game suspension following an altercation with Miami Heat forward Marfieff Morris in Monday’s contest.

Michael Porter Jr. will be sitting for Denver as well. However, they draw a favorable matchup against the Indiana Pacers and could still come away with a win.

The Pacers have struggled out of the gate to a 4-7 record and just 1-5 on the road under “new” head coach Rick Carlisle.

Nuggets vs Pacers prediction

Despite being without their three best players (Jamal Murray included), this could motivate the rest of the Nuggets team. Indiana, themselves will be without T.J. Warren and potentially Malcolm Brogden.

Indiana is also on the third game of a west coast road trip, so they won’t be the freshest team even with those on the court. Expect the rowdy home crowd to give the Nuggets that extra energy tonight without their star big man.

We could see big games from Aaron Gordon, Will Barton and even Austin Rivers who has been known to light it up when given the opportunity. Take the points at home with Denver.
