Denver Nuggets trade targets: Evan Fournier
A reunion with Evan Fournier seems like a daydream to Denver Nuggets fans at this point, especially with how he’s been playing this year.
The 29-year-old guard out of France is averaging 14.1 points per game on the year and just inked a four-year deal with New York this past offseason. The idea is fun to imagine, however, with the way Fournier has been lighting it up for the Knicks.
Fournier is clever and stubborn, just the way the Nuggets and head coach Michael Malone like them. He has a nose for sneaky plays and crafty is just Denver’s type. As long as Fournier can avoid the injury bug, he seems to be one of the bigger trade assets New York has if they are looking to make a move.
With 15 points against the Lakers, Fournier showed he can be a reliable scoring option in the Mile High if the Nuggets wanted to go back to the well with the veteran guard. Fournier would need to keep up the savvy play and fit in with Denver’s style, but it seems like he already does… I mean did.
