How did the Denver Nuggets do on depth this offseason?

Overall, the Denver Nuggets have greatly improved their depth at nearly all positions. There seems to be a backup plan for nearly any situation happening, with the possible exception of the center position, and that is a testament to how well new GM Calvin Booth did in his first offseason.

Young players will be filling many of the holes, with Bones Hyland and Zeke Nnaji both likely seeing increases in minutes and opportunity. First-round picks Peyton Watson and Christian Braun will also be waiting in the event of anyone going down, and they show a new focus from Booth on versatile defensive-minded players.

The Nuggets are finally going to be healthy, and it will be exciting to see the team fully in action, but you never know when setbacks can come. Denver has positioned themselves well for nearly any situation that could befall them, as they enter the 2022-2023 season with a “championship or bust” mentality.

Should Bones Hyland start next season?. dark. Next
