Denver Nuggets offseason grades: Bruce Brown – A

The fact that the Nuggets were able to bring Bruce Brown to the team on a two-year, $13 million contract is highway robbery. He was one of the Brooklyn Nets more impressive players and he has always been a player that has flashed potential but never had a true chance to showcase it.

The number one thing that Brown brings to the table is his defense. He will come in the game when the team needs a stop, and he will put a lot of pressure off of guys like Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr.coming back from injuries. While he won’t be a starter for the team, he will most likely be in the game in crunch time to help the team out.

He has become a better scorer from when he first entered the league and will be able to knock down wide-open jumpers when teams focus on trying to stop the other players in the offense. It was shown during the playoffs against the Boston Celtics how well he can score the ball.

Getting Brown on a cheap deal, and having him bring so much to the table for Nuggets makes him one of the best, if not the best acquisition for the team this season.
