Denver Nuggets early season trade targets: Mason Plumlee

This one might not be a popular choice for some fans. There are some people that were satisfied with Mason Plumlee’s first run with the team, and then there are some that were glad that he left.

No matter what you think about him it is not much of an argument that the team has not had stability in the backup center spot since he left the roster.

While his contract might be a little pricey, he is a player that knows the system well and is a solid rebounder that knows his role.

His time on the Charlotte Hornets might be coming to an end soon with the team drafting Mark Williams and having young bigs like Kai Jones on the roster. The team might have playoff aspirations, but if they get off to a slow start, Charlotte may look to unload veteran players in hopes of getting a lottery pick.

Bringing Plumlee back to the team will bring back stability to the frontcourt rotation and will give them a veteran with playoff experience that can help the team he once played for finally win an NBA championship.
