Nuggets Game Tonight: Nuggets vs. Warriors Odds, Starting Lineup, Injury Report, Predictions, TV Channel for Oct. 14
The Denver Nuggets preseason has been a rollercoaster thus far, to say the least.
Despite having their entire team back at full strength for the first time in more than a year, they lost their home opener to the Thunder, who were without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luguentz Dort, and Chet Holmgren. Only to then follow this up with another lackluster performance against the Chicago Bulls on October 7th, falling 131-113 on the road.
That said, fans have felt the tides begin to turn over their past couple of games. They inched out a narrow victory at home against a competitive Phoenix squad, thanks to stellar performances from Bones Hyland and Ish Smith, and notched home a commanding road win over the Los Angeles Clippers, all without Jamal Murray and with Nikola Jokic being limited to just two points.
Now, Denver heads to the Chase Center to cap off their final preseason contest and exact revenge against their Western Conference rivals, the Golden State Warriors. While there’s reason for hope if you’re a Nuggets fan based on the team’s previous two performances, the latest odds see them as underdogs in tonight’s matchup.
Can the Nuggets end their preseason with a plus record, and steal a win in The Golden City? Or will the Warriors continue their red-hot run and advance to 4-1?
Denver Nuggets vs. Golden State Warriors Odds, Spread, Over/Under

Nuggets Injury Report
Denver is still looking to get all of their starters back healthy, as Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Bones Hyland are all considered questionable for tonight’s game with their respective injuries. Although, given that we’re just five days out from the start of the regular season, chances are the team won’t want to take any risks, specifically with Jamal Murray who’s still nursing a hamstring injury.
Denver Nuggets vs. Golden State Warriors Prediction
These two teams met in the first round of the playoffs just a few short months ago, with the Golden State Warriors coming out victorious as the far superior team. That being said, these are two much different franchises now, as the Nuggets have a lot more firepower and the Warriors have even more depth.
Even though Golden State cruised to a near 40-point victory against the Trail Blazers on Tuesday without Curry, Thompson, Green, Wiggins, and Poole. None of these names currently appear on the injury report, while the Nuggets are still waiting to see if three of their best players will be good to go for tonight’s contest.
With how well guys like Ish Smith, Zeke Nnaji, and Christian Braun have been playing lately, it’s become hard to count Denver out of any contest. They’re still expecting steady contributions from Bruce Brown, Aaron Gordon, and Michael Porter Jr. as well. Unfortunately, battling with the Warriors is an entirely different beast.
Assuming Golden State’s fully healthy, with all of their starters implemented back into the lineup, it will be hard to bet against them, even if Jokic, Murray, and Hyland do play. However, Michael Malone and his staff have done a fantastic job of keeping the team competitive in close games, and I think this will once again be the case tonight.
Warriors 121, Nuggets 115
