Another NBA season is officially underway and the Denver Nuggets are starting their 2022-23 campaign off with the ambition of winning a championship.

Nikola Jokic is ready for another “MVP-type” season, while Jamal Murray and Michael Porter hope to remain healthy to elevate the Nuggets to the elite of the Western Conference.

Here are five Nuggets’ games to watch this season.

Denver Nuggets @ Golden State Warriors – October 21

The Denver Nuggets will meet their playoff nemesis from last season early in their campaign, the Golden State Warriors, who knocked the Nuggets out of the opening round of the 2022 playoffs in just five games.

Denver was able to put up a fight for two of these contests, but they were heavily undermanned on both ends of the floor against the team that eventually became the NBA Champs.

Both teams are expected to be among the top teams in the Western Conference this season. The Denver Nuggets will face the Golden State Warriors three times throughout the 2022-23 season, starting Saturday. So, it will be interesting to see how the team does against arguably the best team in basketball.

Additionally, it will be interesting to see how the team’s defense handles Stephen Curry and his teammates. The Nuggets were the worst defensive team in the playoffs last season, and Golden State will be the first real test of the season for their defense.
