Jamal Murray: Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

I am in no way referring to Jamal Murray as out of shape by labeling him mashed potatoes. Murray is a very crucial part of the meal, and accents Jokic in only a way Murray can. Much of the same can be said for mashed potatoes and gravy when paired with turkey.

Murray just recently referred to Jokic as the peanut butter to his jelly since Jokic is “thick” according to the Blue Arrow. The chemistry between the two is undeniable and a joy to watch grow in front of our eyes.

Murray has been mashed, boiled, and put in a stew over the last year with his injuries and is now finally getting back to being the showman we all love on the court, pouring a smooth 20-plus points over his opponents in three of his last four games. The Blue Arrow is coachable and able to change consistency with different forms of his game, both wonderful attributes when putting together a plate for the ages.
