Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Dinner Rolls and Butter

Logging an average of 32.3 minutes a night on the court for Michael Malone’s Nuggets in November, the 6’5″ veteran out of Georgia is a staple in the lineup and a key part of making the meal so great.

With his ability to defend as well as shoot the ball, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is solid, yet can melt like butter to cover a shooter if you need him to. Caldwell-Pope can spread the floor and add security to an up-and-down Nuggets roster still trying to find its way into the top tier of title contenders.

When he is slicing it up from deep, Denver is hard to beat. KCP fits nicely on the plate and you can move him around. He has a championship pedigree and very peaceful energy about him. He is consistent and often can’t be forgotten about, much like rolls and butter when designing a holiday dinner.

Also, butter can assist in making the mashed potatoes better as well, and we’ve seen Jamal Murray’s efficiency improve at times since the addition of Caldwell-Pope.
