The Phoenix Suns are dealing with a ton of injuries on Wednesday night against the Denver Nuggets, and that has opened up some avenues to explore in the prop market.

The Nuggets are looking to keep the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, and they won’t want to take the Suns lightly after they upset the Golden State Warriors as double-digit underdogs on Tuesday.

Here are three of my favorite plays for tonight’s Western Conference showdown:

Suns vs. Nuggets best NBA prop bets today

  • Nikola Jokic OVER 24.5 Points
  • Duane Washington UNDER 21.5 Points
  • Aaron Gordon OVER 9.5 Rebounds and Assists

Nikola Jokic OVER 24.5 Points

Nikola Jokic has dominated the Suns in his recent games against them, and now he faces them with Deandre Ayton out of the lineup.

Jokic has scored 41, 28, 27, 22 and 32 points in his last five games against Phoenix, and he’s been on fire over the last month, upping his season average to 25.0 points per game.

There is a little concern that Denver may get up big and rest Jokic down the stretch, but Phoenix did win on Tuesday night so I don’t expect it to go too easily tonight.

Duane Washington UNDER 21.5 Points

Duane Washington scored 21 points in the team’s win over the Warriors on Tuesday, and he’s actually cleared this total in two of his last eight games.

Still, I think this is way too high of a line against a Denver team that ranks seventh in the NBA in defensive rating at home this season.

Washington has shown he can erupt at times, but I don’t love backing a role player to have this big of a game, even though he should see an uptick in minutes with so many players out.

Fade Washington at this inflated number.

Aaron Gordon OVER 9.5 Rebounds and Assists

Aaron Gordon has been huge for Denver this season, and he’s cleared 9.5 rebounds and assists in eight of his last 10 games.

On the season, Gordon is averaging 7.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, but he’s averaging 9.0 rebounds per game over this stretch.

With so many key players out for the Suns, I expect Gordon to have no problem on the glass, and there may be a few more misses by Phoenix’s reserves than we’d expect in a normal game.
