The Denver Nuggets are looking for revenge on Tuesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves after losing by 30 without several key starters on Sunday.

There are plenty of ways to wager on this game, but one of my favorite ways to bet on the NBA is in the prop market.

With stars like Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Anthony Edwards and others on the floor tonight, why not take a stab at trusting some of them to hit a prop?

Here are three I’m considering for Nuggets-Wolves:

Timberwolves vs. Nuggets best NBA prop bets

  • Nikola Jokic OVER 25.5 Points
  • D’Angelo Russell OVER 25.5 Points and Assists
  • Aaron Gordon OVER 9.5 Rebounds and Assists

Nikola Jokic OVER 25.5 Points

Nikola Jokic is having yet another MVP-caliber season, and he could benefit in this matchup if Rudy Gobert (questionable) is ruled out.

Even if Gobert is ruled out, Jokic has dominated him as of late, scoring at least 24 points in nine straight matchups against Gobert.

That’s a terrific floor to have in this prop, and Jokic would likely have his way with the smaller Naz Reid if Gobert has to sit.

D’Angelo Russell OVER 25.5 Points and Assists

D’Angelo Russell is playing some of his best basketball of the season as of late, and it’s a big reason why the Wolves have won seven of their last 10 games.

Russell has cleared this number for points and assists in eight of his last 10 games, and he’s averaging 21.8 points and 6.5 assists per game over his last 12 matchups.

Denver gave up a 128 points to Minnesota on Sunday (albeit without Jokic, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon), so I wouldn’t be shocked if Russell is able to get up near 20 in the scoring column again tonight.

Aaron Gordon OVER 9.5 Rebounds and Assists

Aaron Gordon sat out the last meeting between these two teams, but he’s going to be back in the lineup on Tuesday night.

Over his last 11 games, Gordon has at least 10 rebounds and assists in eight of them, averaging 6.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game over that stretch.

Gordon has really taken some strides as a passer as of late, and that’s made him a value play on this prop. Minnesota allowed Gordon to have a 16-rebound, six-assist game earlier this season, so I won’t be shocked if he clears this number on Tuesday.
