Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Sixers vs. Nuggets (Stars to Shine in Marquee Matchup)
By Joe Summers
Nikola Jokic gets a chance to bolster his MVP case tonight against a 76ers squad that’ll be missing Joel Embiid. I’m expecting a big game from the two-time winner, though he’s not the only player I’m targeting.
Jamal Murray is on a nice run himself and with a modest points prop, he’s a player to keep an eye on as well.
There are three props I’m eyeing, so let’s jump into it and get set for a potential Finals preview tonight.
Sixers vs. Nuggets Best Prop Bets
- Nikola Jokic Over 26.5 Points (-110)
- Jamal Murray Over 20.5 Points (-105)
- James Harden Over 10.5 Assists (-105)
Nikola Jokic Over 26.5 Points (-110)
Embiid’s absence will give Jokic significantly more room to operate down low, and I expect the two-time MVP to seize the opportunity to show voters he’s deserving of a third straight trophy.
Jokic has 30+ points in each of his last two games, clearing this prop in six of his previous eight overall. The last time the Nuggets hosted the Sixers without Embiid, back in 2021, Jokic scored 30 points while shooting over 58% from the field.
Expect a similar performance as Jokic enjoys the open lanes provided by Embiid’s absence.
Jamal Murray Over 20.5 Points (-105)
Another player on a tear of late is Jamal Murray, who has 25 or more points in three of his last four contests. He’s cleared this prop in four of his last five full games against the Sixers (getting injured in the first quarter during one in that stretch) and averages nearly 22 per game in wins.
Given the Nuggets are big favorites, it’s safe to assume Murray will hunt shots and hit this number. He’s increasing his shot totals of late, averaging 17.2 per game since the All-Star break, and should have space to operate without Embiid’s towering presence in the lane clogging things up.
James Harden Over 10.5 Assists (-105)
On the other side, Harden has excelled as a playmaker recently and will be heavily relied on to manufacture offense tonight. He’s got 12+ assists in three of his last four games and cleared this number in both games against the Nuggets this season.
Averaging 11.6 assists per game this month, we’re getting a discount on Harden and we should take advantage of it this evening.
