The Denver Nuggets enter Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat as 8.5-point favorites, and there are several trends favoring the team ahead of this game.

If Nuggets fans and bettors want to get bold when backing their team on Thursday night, betting a same-game parlay is a perfect way to do so.

Here are four picks that you can stack together for Denver in Game 1:

Best Heat vs. Nuggets parlay picks

  • Denver Nuggets Moneyline (-390)
  • Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 1+ 3-Pointers Made (-650)
  • Jamal Murray OVER 22.5 Points (-225)
  • Bruce Brown 1+ 3-Pointers Made (-125)

This parlay pays out at +280 odds at DraftKings Sportsbook!

Denver Nuggets Moneyline (-390)

The Nuggets are heavy favorites in this game, and I like them to win based on a few trends.

First off, teams following a Game 7 are 33-53 straight up in Game 1 of the following series. Not only that, but the Nuggets have a huge rest advantage here, which is a good sign based on NBA history.

Denver is 8-0 at home in the playoffs this season, and I expect that strong play to continue.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 1+ 3-Pointers Made (-650)

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is shooting 41.1 percent from beyond the arc in the playoffs, and he’s made a shot from beyond the arc in six straight games.

This is a pretty simple prop, as KCP is going to see a ton of volume from deep, and he’s one of the Denver shooters I’d trust the most in this series.

Jamal Murray OVER 22.5 Points (-225)

Jamal Murray has scored 26 or more points in seven of his last eight games, dominating offensively for the Nuggets in the playoffs.

Murray may have to deal with Gabe Vincent in this series, but 22.5 points is a low enough line for me to back him to go over. The Nuggets guard is playing at too high of a level this postseason to fade him.

Bruce Brown 1+ 3-Pointers Made (-125)

Bruce Brown is going to be an important player for Denver once again in this series, especially if the Heat decide to go small.

The veteran guard shot 35.8 percent from 3 during the regular season, and while that number has dipped in the playoffs, he’s still made at least one shot from deep in five of his last six games.

Brown is going to take open shots, and he’s attempted 2.5 shots from deep per game over the course of the playoffs. However, over his last six games that number has increased to 3.2.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
