You think Aaron Gordon is excited about the moves the Denver Nuggets made this offseason? It was hard to tell during his recent appearance on ESPN's NBA Today. Not only did he say that he feels the best he has ever felt, but he's also hype about the team's newest additions.

He said there "might be problems" for the rest of the league now that Bruce Brown is back where he belongs, in Denver. Gordon said that the Nuggets "have a squad."

He gave Denver's newest big man, Jonas Valančiūnas, a shoutout, saying, "Big Val is going to hold that down. You know what I mean? That's a boy. So, we got a squad. We got a squad. I'm excited."

Is it evident by now that Gordon thinks the Nuggets have a squad? Can you tell that AG is ready for the season to start? If how he feels is any indication of what's to come for Denver, the Nuggets could be the last team standing next June.

Aaron Gordon is excited about the Nuggets' offseason moves

As Malika Andrews noted, Denver has as good a chance as any other team in the West to win it all. That wasn't the case over the past two seasons, as the Nuggets' depth wasn't nearly as strong as it was during the championship run in 2022-23.

Having a player like Nikola Jokić on the roster gives you an automatic (massive) advantage, but as he said at the end of last season, teams that were still in the playoffs had longer benches than Denver. The Nuggets' front office duo of Ben Tenzer and Jon Wallace addressed that need this summer, from reuniting with Brown to signing Tim Hardaway Jr.

Denver had such a good offseason that it's hard to choose which move will be the most impactful. It sounds like Gordon is the most excited about Brown's return, or perhaps that's the first thing he mentioned since the two played together. Gordon understands what Brucey B. means to Denver.

It won't be too much longer until the Nuggets are back in action, with training camp set to begin in less than two weeks. Gordon joined NBA Today during his birthday trip to Sardinia, enjoying the last little bit of the offseason before the real fun begins.

In the wise words of Mr. Nugget, Denver has a squad. Hopefully, that squad will bring home another title to Denver.
