The Denver Nuggets are back in Los Angeles to take on the Lakers after narrowly beating them last Friday at Ball Arena. Luka Doncic missed that game but should play in Wednesday night's showdown.

The Lakers went on a three-game losing skid without LeBron James but have won their last two games since losing to the Nuggets, with wins over the Suns and Spurs, two teams that sit toward the bottom of the conference.

Denver has a one-game lead over LA in the standings, putting an even bigger spotlight on tonight's matchup. The Nuggets are coming off their most impressive win of the season, a 114-105 dub against the Warriors without Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Both stars are on the injury report for tonight's game, but hopefully, they will be upgraded to play.
