2.) Aleksa Avramovic - Guard, CSKA Moscow

Avaramovic was one of the biggest winners of the Olympics, making a name for himself by winning the Best Defensive Player award and nearly shooting Team USA out of the tournament. Does a defensive-ace, three-point shooting dynamo sound like something the Nuggets could use? Yes, please!

The fit is almost too perfect as he carries the exact traits the Nuggets are looking for. He’s never played in the NBA, but most Euro League contracts come with buyouts and the Nuggets should be able to bring him over fairly easily and sign him to a small contract that they can afford.

For Avramovic, he’d be sliding into a role very similar to the one he just played with Serbia; play off the ball and get yourself open so that Jokic (and others) can feed you to knock down shots. Then on the defensive end, hound ballhandlers and be an irritant.

That sounds like an extremely useful player, one who perfectly fills the needs of the Nuggets. The relationship and connection with Jokic are just an added bonus. For a team that doesn’t have much depth, adding a guy to the end of the bench with two possibly elite skills is a no-brainer.
