3.) Bogdan Bogdanovic - Guard, Atlanta Hawks

This is the obvious one as Bogey is clearly the second-best Serbian player in the world and in the NBA. He has a great friendship and chemistry with the Joker and it would be a shame for them to never team up in the United States.

He’d also be the toughest Serbian player to acquire as he plays an important role for the Hawks as an elite sixth man and he’ll make $17.3 million in the 2024-25 season. That means the Nuggets would most likely have to part with Michael Porter Jr. (or Aaron Gordon/Jamal Murray - which isn’t happening), but it would be worth it.

Bogey can provide the same level of shooting as MPJ, with some better offensive skills, especially with the ball. He might be a shade worse on defense and he’s not the same rebounder as Porter Jr., but he also makes about half the salary.

The Hawks would need some motivation to do the deal, so the Nuggets would have to add some sweetener or take back another unfavorable contract like De’Andre Hunter or Clint Capela. But those could be useful players for the Nuggets and just getting off the Porter Jr. contract would be a win.

Pairing Bogey and Jokic in Denver would be a dream come true and if there is any way Calvin Booth can make it a reality, he should absolutely go for it.
