Stud #1: Aaron Gordon

While Jokic was the best player on the floor, Gordon wasn’t far behind. AG offered up his best performance of the playoffs by far and had a fantastic game on both ends. The shotmaking was as good as we’ve seen as Gordon was scoring from all three levels, finishing inside, hitting threes, even making tough jumpers off the dribble, and providing some thunder around the rim as well.

He hit his first 10 shots from the floor and finished the night with 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists on almost perfect shooting; 11/12 from the floor, 2/2 from three, and 3/3 from the free throw line.

Beyond the gaudy stats, it was the way Gordon played. Early in this series, Gordon spent a lot of time playing in the post or the dunker spot, waiting for things to come to him. But in game 4 Gordon was a menace, taking his game outside and dominating on the perimeter with his ballhandling and screening.

Gordon was just as impressive on the defensive end doing a great job against the Wolves' two best offensive players, Anthony Edwards and Karl-Anthony Towns. Gordon was flying around on both ends and his fingerprints were all over this basketball game. When the Nuggets get this version of Aaron Gordon, they are almost unbeatable.
