#2.) Get Jamal Murray going

The Nuggets need their second star to play like it. Murray was terrible in game two, hitting 3/18 shots and completely losing his cool on the refs. Frankly, he’s lucky to even be playing after throwing a heating pad onto the court in frustration. He easily could have been suspended but the team luckily dodged a bullet.

Murray is clearly not 100% right now, as he’s dealt with injuries to his ankle, knee, and calf. But this is the playoffs and everybody is dealing with some kind of injury. If Murray is out there, he needs to be a lot better.

Part of that is the Wolves defense. He needs to be able to handle their size and physicality. If they are going to play him so aggressively he needs to use that against them and find ways to make them pay. If he can move off the ball and free himself for some shots he should have a chance to get going.

We all know that if Murray sees a few shots go in he can heat up in a hurry. A hot-shooting Murray could completely flip this series, and the Nuggets need it desperately. As great as Nikola Jokic is, he needs his co-star.
