2. Philadelphia 76ers
This one could make sense for both sides. The 76ers are at a crossroads. They have still not been out of the second round of the playoffs in the Joel Embiid era, and it is beginning to look like they may not ever reach their true potential with him as their best player. Certainly, much of the national media has stuck a fork in Philadelphia for the time being.
But in reality, what they could use is more production on the wing. They have the guard and center spots locked up, with Tyrese Maxey playing at an extremely high level in the playoffs and Embiid still looking like a top five player in the world, when he is healthy at least.
However, they still lack high-level difference-makers at wing. Tobias Harris has been a mainstay for them for years now, but they frankly need someone closer to the talent level of their other two stars. They could acquire that in Michael Porter Jr.
If the Nuggets are to trade Porter and remain in contention, they will need shooting and shot-creation back in return. Players like Buddy Hield and Kelly Oubre could work well as replacements in this scenario.
