The Nuggets need to retool this offseason but have limited means to improve. Perhaps it's time to look at some familiar old faces and see if some reunions make sense.

8.) Bol Bol

Bol Bol was a polarizing player while in Denver and that hasn’t changed. He’s somehow still as much an idea as an actual player; oozing with upside but unable to channel it all. He’s had promising moments but hasn’t really been able to latch onto a team and carve out a meaningful role.

Still, the combination of size and talent is undeniable, and he can be extremely impactful in the right situation. Adding a versatile 7-footer who can shoot, handle, and block shots would be an incredible boon for the Nuggets. He could fill a number of roles in short bursts for Denver and add a totally different look coming off the bench.

Bol is a flawed player for sure, but his skill set is incredibly intriguing. If anyone can maximize his strengths, it would be a player like Jokic who can set Bol up for success. Bol can be a bit of a liability on defense, and he’s not a lock to make the playoff rotation. But he’s worth a minimum contract as a guy who could at least be a regular-season innings-eater and provides loads of untapped potential - something the Nuggets roster is currently lacking.
