Best NBA prop bets today for Spurs vs. Nuggets (Nikola Jokic owns San Antonio)

Breaking down the best prop bets for the San Antonio Spurs-Denver Nuggets matchup on Tuesday night.

The Denver Nuggets are looking to gain some ground in the Western Conference playoff race on Tuesday night when they take on a short-handed San Antonio Spurs team.

While Victor Wembanyama is expected to play for the Spurs, Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson have both been ruled out, meaning San Antonio won’t have nearly as many options on offense.

With Denver heavily favored in this game, I’m looking to the prop market for my favorite bets tonight, including one for star Nikola Jokic.

Spurs vs. Nuggets best NBA prop bets

  • Nikola Jokic OVER 26.5 points
  • Victor Wembanyama OVER 25.5 points
  • Aaron Gordon OVER 10.5 rebounds and assists

Nikola Jokic OVER 26.5 points

Jokic has dominated the Spurs this season, putting up 31 points in 30 minutes last month and 39 points in the first meeting between these teams.

He’s a matchup nightmare for Wemby because of his strength and craftiness, and the Nuggets center has shown that he’s willing to carry the scoring load as of late, clearing 26.5 points in eight of his 14 games in the month of March.

I am concerned about Denver winning big and sitting Jokic towards the end of the game, but he hasn't played less than 30 minutes in a single matchup since Feb. 9.

Bet the OVER on The Joker tonight.

Victor Wembanyama OVER 25.5 points

With Vassell and Johnson out, this could be a massive game for the Rookie of the Year favorite, who will likely see 20 or more shots in this one.

Wemby has attempted 22 shots in each of his last two games, putting up 40 and 32 points, and he has four 30-point games since March 17.

While he’s fallen short of this total in both of his matchups against the Nuggets this season, I think this is a prime spot to bet on volume with the Spurs’ next two best scorers sitting out.

Aaron Gordon OVER 10.5 rebounds and assists

I love this prop for Aaron Gordon, who has cleared 10.5 rebounds and assists in seven of his last nine games. Over that stretch, the Nuggets forward is averaging 7.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game (12.0 rebounds and assists).

He only played 25 minutes in the last meeting with the Spurs, but the forward still finished with 10 rebounds and assists in that matchup.

Given San Antonio’s injury situation, there should be a few extra missed shots from a team that already ranks 21st in effective field goal percentage and 27th in opponent rebounds per game.
