The Denver Nuggets don't necessarily need to make a trade before the Feb. 8 deadline, but there are options they could consider to add depth for what should be another deep playoff run. And no, the Nuggets aren't going to trade for Bruce Brown. Denver's strapped financially, which is why Brown didn't re-sign last offseason.
The Nuggets have been relatively quiet on the trade front, but Calvin Booth could still orchestrate a smaller move in the next day and a half.
Grading Denver Nuggets trade targets from no-brainer to must-avoid
The team's biggest need is a reliable backup big for Nikola Jokic. DeAndre Jordan has stepped in to try to fill that void, but he's 35 years old and shouldn't be a regular face in the playoff rotation. Zeke Nnaji's still young but has already played himself out of the rotation.
Denver could also add another backup point guard, someone who's an upgrade over Reggie Jackson. That isn't a necessity, though.
There are a few different players the Nuggets could turn to. Denver has reportedly expressed interest in some players on this list, while the others could possibly be a good fit for the reigning champions.
