Denver will open its season against last season's top team in the West. Fans won't have to wait to see reigning MVP Nikola Jokic take on the 2024 MVP runner-up Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

It will be a tough first test for the Nuggets, who have had a tough offseason. Meanwhile, the Thunder upgraded their roster by trading for Alex Caruso and signing Isaiah Hartenstein. Many people have counted Denver out after losing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Jokic and Co. could silence the haters by starting the season with a win.
